Hey guys, just getting to grips with Media Portal here and I have the MP-TV Series plugging up and running. One thing I can't get to work, though it's a minor annoyance, is multi-episode files. For example a file might be called:

Series Name - S01E01E02 - Blah

This format allowed XBMC to read it in as two episodes, Media Portal only reads it as the first in the list. Is there a way to get it to read the file twice as two episodes and indeed for any number of episodes? I have one file that contains 8 shorts that are separate episodes.

hmmm, this is a good point actually...in a nutshell you have three places (that i am aware of) where this can be configured...

1/ what you call the file
2/ what scanning filters are in place
3/ whether you choose 'aired' or 'dvd' during the import.

the only multi-part files i have are the odd episode where it is either 01-02 as a premiere, 23-24 as a finale, and very rarely one somewhere in the middle.

my episodes are \media\series\series-season\series-season-episode... so, for example:

\media\family guy\family guy s01\family guy s01e01.avi

multi-part files are always:

\media\family guy\family guy s01\family guy s01e01-02.avi

i need to get mp-tv series working again tonight since i formatted and re-installed, so i'll take particular attention to these episodes and we'll see how we get on.

Thanks, I'm also going to try fiddling with the file names when I get home from work, and will try changing it from S01E01E02 to say S01E01-02 and see if it makes a difference.
