Trying to get my music accessible on my 360 from my PC but the 360 cannot see it, the 360 see's the PC and the I've allowed the 360 to access my media on the PC, but when I go into the music section it shows no albums/artists/songs, but shows an empty playlist (which isnt empty of the PC). Theres no firewalls active and UPnP is on, on the router.

Any suggestions?

Yep, theres lots of stuff listed in the WMP11 library on the PC, but nothing (other than that playlist containing nothing) shows up, I created another blank playlist and that showed up aswell but no actual music files

Then try Davey's suggestion - I had problems with only half my files showing up using WMP sharing and ended up having to use TVersity as well for the odd times I wanted to stream stuff.

If you do give TVersity a try, best to disable sharing in WMP though rather than having both going at the same time.

Try clearing out your shared folders so they're blank and then only copying WMV/WMA/MP3 files there. I found if I had a mixed folder of things like AVIs and MPGs, it mucked the whole sharing up.

When you say sharing folders do you mean the monitored ones? My WMP11 library is populated from files all over the hard drive.

Not sure - I tended to stick everything in "My Videos", "My Music", etc. with subfolders off that - those folders are monitored by default by WMP11.
