medium sized graphics cards

looking to get a (upper) mid range graphics card for my htpc, but its pretty small in there, and heightwise its an issue, only got 15mm from top of pci bracket to where the top of case is , and loads of the compact cards are to tall, specially when you factor in getting power into the card :/

the 1070 mini oc galax would probably work but i cant find any to buy :/, the zotec/evga/gigabyte all being too tall, is there any others?

length wise im limited to 25cm

case is an antec fusion

That case is a media case not a gaming htpc case. Get a bigger case.

cant, the funiture unit we just bought only just fits this case

Im currently thinking of hacking the wall down between the motherboard section and hard drive to fit a longer card like this guy did, or just getting rid of the fold over with a hammer xD

if you are up for a diy, then have a look at pcie x16 extenders and making a custom mount for the gpu, theres a variety with some being 90 degree bends on one pcb, to just pure ribbon type cable end to end with a latchable pcie socket.
