Mega millions shared between 3 people.

Money does in no way guarantee lifelong happiness.

Woild you be happier with £400 million or with £0?

You don't think that having that much money would at least make you happier? No more stressful job, pay for all the drugs and hookers you could ever want, pay for all the entertainment you would need to keep you happy.

Having money to buy plenty of medication and healthcare worked out well for all those rich people with problems you read about.

I don't read about rich people, but the majority of them seem to be happy.

There's a difference between being rich and being a celebrity.

Ok to all the people who don't think they need money to be happy, send all your money to me, you don't need it at all right?

Money is there to be spent, people who say it wouldn't change their lives are stupid, because it would certainly change mine for the better and i would be ever so gratefull.:)

So how come all the people who don't care about money and aren't made happy by it havnt sent it all to me yet? Hypocrites!

You wouldn't be top of the list of who I would give it to.

If it doesn't make you happy then why would you care who it went to?

Being a celebrity was relevent because you don't hear about random rich people killing themselves or having mental problems in the news, all that kind of crap is mainly Britney Spears and Whitney Houston.

Something like 25% at the Federal level, then individual state taxes are added on (different for every state) and then depending where you live in the state even more can be added on.

Still, it'll leave you with a nice sum I'd imagine.

That's still quite a lot even though they win a lot, i don't get how governments feel entitled to take so much.

A person works and gets taxed before being paid, they then buy a lottery ticked which gets taxed (or shop gets taxed?), then organisation running lottery gets taxed, then the person who wins the jackpot gets taxed, so the money has been taxed multiple times down the line which doesn't seem right.

Money should only be taxed at the point where work is done and profits are made or where services and upkeep are used which might not apply to everyone, not sure how its fair with winnings or when its past on as it has been taxed already and nothing of value is created.

If it doesn't make you happy then why would you care who it went to?

I didn't say it doesn't make me "happy", as that's the word you're using.

If you actually read my earlier posts you'd see I said that rich people have their share of problems as well.

Being rich is no guarantee of "happiness".

And if I were to give my money away why wouldn't I care who it went to?

If I decided to do that I would want it to go to a person or cause I thought deserved it using my own biased criteria.

It wouldn't be you.

I'm just going to say that I plan on winning the Lottery tonight and the first 5 posters to congratulate me will get new computers...

... worth £150.
