Calm down, you're going a bit crazy with your child-like tantrum.

Codes like this are a good thing, the second hand market earns the publishers nothing, they have to scrape some cash from it or make it less appealing.

you if you have used the online code
so other people know what the they are buying

You should maybe do some prior research... As said, it's a given that the download/live codes are used on pre-owned games.
Bonus if it hasn't been used but you have to always assume otherwise.

Such a bizarre rant for a total non-issue.

The free live code? I wouldn't give a monkeys if it was used. A code to play online? Meh, I'd have known the risks before buuying.
This situation would never have happened to me though as I wouldn't have paid £32.99 for a pre-owned game, when it can be had brand new elsewhere for cheaper.
I think you need to re-evaulate who the "idiot" is in this thread.

Most people wouldn’t buy a 2nd hand game for which the retail is £10 cheaper or less

I honestly don’t see the overload on the rant and calling people names and staring out cussing

to be fair mate, we are not the shop what sold you an 2nd hand game with a used code which you can get cheaper elsewhere,

you say you maybe don’t have an debt card okay. Don’t see what has to do with it as dannyjo22 posted a high street shop which is selling it at £21.99 which you could just go in and buy with cash

Just pop into the shop tomorrow or Monday, Get Refund , Buy Retail £10 cheaper maybe buy a 2nd hand game with the £10 you saved.

Simple. Problem sorted

They are asking that amount because, as proven, people will pay it.

In my eyes, the pre-owned system is a total joke. It harms the industry by stealing sales, and it doesn't offer that much (anything?) in return.

I saw that you were 35 on your profile, but refused to believe that anyone could get to that age and still behave in such a manner.
You can either act your age, stop the rant and return the game. Or you can carry on as you are... I'm sure I'm not the only one laughing at you right now.
