mega storms uk next week

It has just hit here again within the last few minutes, High winds and lots of rain.

All of a sudden hear that noise, the letter box starts a-flappin'
 
Same here. Lets all hope that all those that are needy etc can find help and safety and be protected from the worst of the weather.
 
Very windy here in south somerset - mostly around 50-60mph but some gusts now and again above that. Raining on and off but its mostly short severe showers.
 
Aaaaaaaaaaaand that's the bedroom ceiling leaking. Water seeping in where the ceiling joins the old chimney breast. No dampness in the attic...wonder if the chimney's lost some lead flashing or something.

Unbelievably windy here suddenly. Quite worried about the trees and the cast iron chimney flap in the fireplace is lifting up and down.
 
keep getting power surges / cuts here in Whitchurch. Thankfully, got my phone fully charged for tethering if need be, my tablet fully charged and my laptop fully charged :D
 
Been raining since 12pm here in east london, wasnt too windy earlier on but now its really picked up. Lots of rubbish bins flying and the neighbour across the road has had a new kitchen put in and i just heard an almighty bang so looked out the window and something has smashed his car window in...looks like a piece of wood. Dumb **** should have got a skip to put all the old kitchen stuff away...some people will never learn:rolleyes:
