wasnt aware of that, so cant comment, i have both and ive only ever connected them via the standard aerial lead, which i thought only gave mono sound anyway :confused:

probably, im not entirely sure! i will be using a scart cable on my megadrive soon anyway

that's true

stereo was either from the headphone jack or the av port

The mega cd is 16 bit also i think your thinking of the 32x which is 32 bit.

The mega cd is really nothing more than a cd add on with improved sound. It could do a poor version of nintendos mode 7 stuff too and when devs really pushed it, it could show more colours.

Ecco the Dolphin. Now those were some scary games :eek:

get a megadrive 2, i think it looks better, oh how i wish i hadnt sold mine and my mega cd, twas blooming brilliant

might buy one when i go to uni just for a muck about

The best game on the MegaDrive is Phantasy Star 4, without a shadow of a doubt. Get it and kiss goodbye to a large part of your free time, even know it's still a great RPG.

Fatl Fury and StreetFighter Championship Edition (make sure you get the 6 button pad for that game).

Also, streets of rage II is a must.

No one else EVER has heard of this game, which IMO is possibly the best platmormer ever. So much variety, and so impossibly hard at the end, agh!

Del 707 - ive been informed to back up Bonanza brothers by my gf. She bought the Master system version a while back and thinks its ace. I must admint i hadnt seen the MD version before.

Gonna get one myself i think when i come back from Canada if i've got any money left. Sold my Xbox360, never used it
