Just seen the news on the BBC that the comedian Mel Smith has passed away

. Used to love watching Alas Smith and Jones and Not the Nine O-clock News.

Great loss, always watched Alas Smith and Jones, great comedy from the 80's.

Only aged 60, died from a heart attack.

I think I will always have fond memories of him in Morons from outer space.... even though he did so much more I always remember him sneezing in that space suit

So sad. I remember 1st watching not the nine 'o clock news with him, Griff, Rowan & Pamela all those years ago when I was a teenager.

My tribute is to post one of the classic Songs from that TV show. I get asked if I know this song in my job sometimes. :rolleyes:

Sad to hear about this, the last thing I saw him in was the only fools spinoff rock and chips. He did look quite old in that to how I remember him.

That clip posted above is funny the one about the sperm clinic, thanks for posting not seen that before.
