Melosie Project Pc desk

Hi everyone,

My name is Simon, this is my first ever build/Log attempt and I'm going to build a pc desk in near future. Hope you like it. I will keep you updated. I will start building it this week so more images coming soon.
Here it is the design of it

Also these are the specs of computer that will go inside the desk if anyone wonders:
CPU: I7-4770k
Ram: G.SKILL RIPJAWS 2133mhz 2x4gb
Cooler:Corsail h100i
MOBO: MSI z87-GD65
PSU: Corsair AX760
GPU: EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX

Also if anyone could help chose monitor up to 450 pounds that would be great as I haven't got clue what to buy. I'm looking for 27-29inch monitor ips if possible.

Any concern about leg room, for me I'd feel those shelves would be in my way

This for me too but I am 6ft+ so may not be issue for OP.
I really wanna do one of these when I move.

Yea I thought about space I may completely remove shells on the left side and keep those on the right. I will see when I build it. I can always cut them slightly or remove them completely. I will keep you updated soon. Today I have cut the bottom of the desk and top. Will post images later on. Hope you enjoy. Kind regards Simon

Here is update of my progress for you guys

Sorry for the mess in my bedroom didn't have time to clean just came from school and finished cutting.

This is the top of the desk

This the second part of top where computer will be installed in between

This is the bottom but please note I may be cutting it further to make sure I can fit my legs (if required). Also I'm planing to put some led under it to make it glow.

And this is the paint and base that I purchased to day and I will be painting the inside of desk where my computer will be in this greenish colour that will glow in dark.

I'm so exited to build this desk as this is my first desk that I'm building. Again hope you like it and next update will be soon when I find some more time to do more work on it :cool:

Sorry for late update but this meant to be uploaded yesterday but my internet router died so i have to replace it with old one and I'm waiting for new to arrive.

Here it's little update:
Here you can see that I started to put it together

Here I start to polish up the edges of the desk to look as one and then I painted to see where I need to fill gaps between edges. Don't worry desk will be black but I will do 2-3 layers of base colour before applying black paint to make it look nice.

Looks very cool indeed. Did you ever think about making it height adjustable when you designed it and what CAD package did you use?

The space for legs is going to be 70cm so it will be enough and entire desk will be 90cm high (Little bit higher than dining table). I didn't use any cad all of this is cut by me. I took me a while but I don't have any access to cad so it can take time before I finish the desk. Just have question does anyone know where can I buy motherboard tray?

Hi there guys and I need your help! I have trouble choosing fans and fan controller for this desk and I haven't got clue what to buy as I want my desk to be quiet and run at quiet low temperatures. Are you able to help me ?

Hi there guys thanks for suggestion and i got question did anyone used nf-f12 from nocula and do you know any smaller fan controller that can also control pwm fans?
