Mem oc worth it?

Currently have a 7700k@5ghz and was wondering if overclocking my 2666mhz corsair LPX ram was worth it?

Or would I have better results attempting to tighten the timings? Never touched RAM outside of the xmp profile so not sure on the best route.

The only way to find out is to try it and see what you get. Do before and after tests to see. I found it useful on my previous PC but that had slower DDR3 RAM.
