Memento remake

So.. Looks like Memento is next up to receive the remake treatment.

Why don't they remake some *** films, but do a better job second time around, rather than remake great films that don't need to be remade; and then end up doing a **** poor job of it. :mad:

The only explanation can be that they're hoping to bring it to a bigger audience to make more money but anything you do to make it more accessible will diminish what makes it great.

WTF, this is insane. Memento is my favourite movie ever and only 15 years old! There is no point in remaking it, it's already perfect!

Gotta agree, if it aint broke why fix it. Tbh i dont think i can say ive seen a bad Christopher nolan film.

Shameless name drop but I spoke briefly to Stephen Toblowsky this year at the Edinburgh festival. Memento was the only movie that came to mind but now I think about it Groundhog day as well.

This just makes me MAD. I can't even see it being a particularly good money-maker either....it's not exactly a mindless action picture that will just rake in the summer cash off the back of the SFX.

Also, from the article...
