Memory and cpu qestion

Just a small question about memory.

I bought the

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - Retail

4GB Corsair XMS3 (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Asus P8P67 PRO Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge) ** B3 REVISION **

Someone mentioned that i need to change the voltage on the memory because it can damage the cpu.

What is the best voltage to set it at and would it really damage the CPU?
