Memory Available Under XP ?

Bint Box's questions were addressed in the very first reply of the thread by Burnsy, which is why I didn't feel the need to answer Bint Box's direct question. My post wasn't also simply advising Bint Box to stick with Windows 7 but to see what sort of problems he or she (sorry, I'm no entirely sure if you're a he or a she judging by your user-name. I'm swaying towards a she though. :p) was having with regards to some of the things he / she mentioned in the hope they were only minor problems that could quite easily be addressed in one way or another. :)

Fair enough, but You did say "abomination of an operating system" also, possibly not really necessary for getting You point over :D

Why the question of xp anyway? XP x64 had quiet poor support not to mention both it and a pair of 2gb ram sticks are almost the same prices as w7. Honestly, adding w7 to a pc will be better than xp x64 or adding ram to xp x86.

I've used XP x64 a few times and never had any problems tbh

But then again I didn't have that much installed on my computer as far as peripherals were concerned. When you start to use wireless cards, printers and scanners is when you'd most likely have "problems".

7 is a lot better once you get used to it; XP is starting to look a little tired now.
