hi there,

Id like to get a micro sd card for my mp3 player.

I see class 2, 4, 6 and 10

After googling what the class types mean I understand they relate primarily to transfer speed, therefore class 10 being the best as it transfers data at 10mb

Is this overkill?

I am seeking bang for buck with maximum storage

Will 32g be reliable? I remember a year back reliability was an issue.

If they are reliable what make and class of 32g class would you go for?

Please advise...

Thanks in advance for all your help and the time taken to respond.

I can't recommend a specific card for you, but yes, any type of Micro SD card will be perfectly happy inside an MP3 player. Class 10 etc are only really needed for HD video recording/playback, or if you're really bothered by the time it takes to load things on to the card in the first place.

i use a class 6 for my slr hd cam

the higher the rateing the quicker the card can save.

thats why the very high class 10 cards are silly expensive
