Can this be right?
Max mem freq 333, current 444?
And will it = toasted ram sticks for breakfast?
Would it be better to force lower mhz to get lower latencies?

If that's stable then it's fine (it's a very good overclock for PC5300).

Whats the memory voltage (vdimm) set to in your BIOS?
 
Only a carpy mobo so theres real limited options (although very OC friendly), so voltage options are set to high.
everest reports:
+3.3v @ 3.28-3.30
+5v @ 5.51-5.54 (this is the vdimm right?)
+12v @ 12.71

The VCCD (DRAM) Voltage is the vdimm option in BIOS, so it doesn't actually tell you what it's set to. But it won't be too high. Probably 2.0-2.1v.

I'd be happy with what you have :)
 
If you change your ram frequency down to 266 in the bios, it should effectively be running in sync with the cpu, (355mhz) If it's running stable now though, not really much point :)

well, no problems so far, i havent run any tests, what kinda benchmarks should i try for stability?
i'm not really a number cruncher, more interested in getting higher performance from what I have.

nope, it doesnt say what the actual v's are ... hense the next upgrade being a new mobo once i get a gpu cooler =)
certainly pleased with it for what the system has cost so far.

I would run Memtest86+ on your memory just to check that it's stable.

Tho you would usually have experienced a few blue screens by now if it wasn't stable.
 
Those 2 speeds listed under the SPD tab in CPU-Z are the default speeds programmed into the memory. These are the speeds and timings the memory will run at first boot and will stay at those settings unless you change them manually as you have. It looks like you have a really good OC there if it is stable. You can tell people you have Micron "Fatbody" ICs on your memory.

LOL whats? Sound kinda kool, I can feel a slight lengthening already, no really...



I see, understand a litle bit more about memory now. I have tuned down to 266 to give it a test run and see if theres any improvemnts etc. will give it a dose of memtest tonight, then try at 455 again.
