Memory Combination Query

I currently have http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-000-TG in my rig (see below). I'm a bit a nub when it comes to memory, and I have no idea whether or not the Geil that Gibbo is pimping, or any other memory for that matter, would be compatible with what I already have.

From what I can gather, the timings will be different, but the speed will not. Will this be of any significance?

I may be wrong put if one sets timings are slower it might slow the faster
set down

Basically yes, the mobo bios will default all the memory timings to the ramstick thats got the slowest timings.
