Having just build my new machine e6300 on mobo 775dual-vsta i have had some stability problems that i first thought was my HDD. However having used S&M to test my hardware i have found that both my 1gb 5300 ram sticks come up as having a multiple bit error when i run as a full load. Does this mean i have faulty ram ( if thats the case both stick ??) or is there a bios setting i need to change as i havent changed any of them.

ok having had a look at my bios i have changed a couple of the options, i changed my DRAM voltage from auto to high and i also enable spread spectrum ( the thing that allows for a better tolerance). Having done this i re ran the memory tests and im now not getting any problems at the momment. Could just altering the voltage solved my probelm? or am i just unlucky as if these 2 sticks are faulty then thats 3 faulty in a row. Please someone let me know what you think as if its not good then i will return them tomorrow. THanks
