Memory for Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP?

ah ok, i just wondered if memory wasn't able to go in the one week only deals for some reason.

cheers.

Re the Kingston 16GB kit.

I'm running 4 x 8gb of the Kingston Blu above on GA-Z87-D3HP, it's been totally without issue and proven very stable. I even have slightly tighter timings at 9-9-9-24, this is also running at a voltage of only 1.35v! Not the fastest memory but I did overclock the CPU cache controller to x41 that gave quite a good improvement in Performance Test memory benchmarks.

i did actually pick those up in the end as they work great! (although the 2x8gb kit)

will look into tightening the timings e.t.c. cheers.

Hi, yes I've owned that memory since last year, I ran it on an Ivy Bridge system before the Haswell system.

I have some bespoke neural network software here that runs over parallel threads running 24/7, i've seen all the 32gb used up sometimes. The memory is holding double precision floating point and if there was a memory issue the program would crash. I generally pick Kingston memory, it's not the fastest but it's priced good and always runs stable.

seems absolutely fine running using the xmp. haven't overclocked the processor yet but the memory seems great!

cheers.

I find this mobo very weird with ram. I have some generic Kingston HyperX black that are supposed to be 10&10&10&30, but if I use XMP, it times them to CL9 and 28. I don't know why, maybe because I am running F2-bios. Memory overclocks etc. are not enabled either, the only thing I set was the volts to 1.65v. (And CPU overclock separately).

In any case, it works fine on the tighter timings, just thought I'd contribute.
