Hi guys

I have an E6600, Gigabyte 965p DQ6 motherboard (just reflashed from bios version F2 to F6), and matched pair of XMS2-6400C5 2gb.

I had problems trying to overclock before due to an unknown problem, and so i reflashed the bios to F6 which covers a lot of issues (including memory compatability). This rig used to run 100% stable at stock speeds before, but now with the F6 bios, it crashes when playing games online after about an hour of play.

I have tried voltages (from 1.8 to 2.1) and used to the reccomended timings (5-5-5-12) as well as leaving it on "fail safe defaults" and "optimized defaults" in the bios.

Every setting causes the computer to crash after gaming for about an hour. Normal internet usage is fine though.

I dont know if i have faulty ram or not, it ran fine previously but whenever i tried to overclock i had problems too. Now that my bios has been reflashed im getting problems even at stock settings.

Any advice guys?

Yeh im gonna give it a reflash back to a previos bios now, sorry i couldnt do it earlier i had to go to bed (too tired)

Ill report back.

PS. It fails memtest atm within a few minutes.

Ok i ran memtest for 2 passes and stopped it, had a quick play on css and guess what, it suddenly rebooted :(

Im thinking it might be my PSU but it always used to run flawlessly until this bios flash :(

Ideas?
