Memory or Core artifact?

if its dots then mem, if its jagged lines then core. core can also cause lockups.

woah thats seriously bad artifacting. tried reinstalling drivers? or is it only as a consequence of the overclock? Set it back to stock?

Not sure if its core or mem.
 
Yeah i've never seen artifacting like that, it didnt crash the game though I just exited the game restarted it and it was fine.

It could be a driver issues I suppose, i've had a zillion nvidia/ati cards using different drivers recently due to testing (was going a few 7800/x1800 comparisons).
I'll be giving it a fresh install soon so i'll see if that fixes it.
 
don't reinstall anything you don't need to, try underclocking the card see if that helps ;)

something is broke & widely reported as a problem :/
