Hi there

To celebrate the launch of the TUF Alliance Gaming memory from TeamGroup they are supporting some pretty crazy pre-order prices, especially when you consider this is 3000MHz, 3200MHz and 3600MHz kits, in fact this pricing makes them cheaper than nasty budget value no heatspreader 2133MHz and 2400MHz junk, as 8 Pack would say. :D

Hence why its a pre-order deal only as TeamGroup are rebating us for any pre-sales at the discounted pricing.

Though it is a collaboration between Asus TUF & TeamGroup, this memory using higher quality IC than your regular stuff, so it will actually work in all motherboards, chipsets from both Intel and AMD, it is just not limited to those with Asus mainboards. :)

I would not call them crazy Deals the prices are still High

They are not high compared to current market price and people buying now that is all that matters is how the price compares to competitors and £120 for a 3000MHz 16G kit is a good price, just a few months ago you’d be paying £200 so though they may not be back down to the frankly crazy prices of a couple years ago they are certainly heading in right direction.

16GB pre-ordered :D
Not sure if budget allows another 16 or not though

Wait a month or so, though not guaranteed certainly for Black Friday we shall be pushing to hit £99 as a special.
Of course if memory prices start going back up that won't be possible, but the current price trends don't currently show any price increases.

Black Friday is sooo long away though :p

And its not a guarantee, if memory prices start moving back up, then it won't be cheap, of course they might move down more, at the moment its tracking at still dropping but it is slowing, this week just 1% drop.

It's in my basket the only thing stopping me is the £8.70 delivery charge:(

Link to your forum account for free mainland next day shipping.
Otherwise the shipping is the shipping I am afraid, still be cheaper than elsewhere for such speed of memory kit.

Done some EPIC TWO deals, 8G kits nearly £55 and 16G kits £110 on 2400MHz, pretty much cheapest out there for premium RAM with heatspreader. :)

These and the Vulkan Tuf aren’t on the ASRock Z370 Extreme4 Qvl.
That’s the board I’m looking at getting.
Price, quality? and features seem the best.

Will be fine, you have any issues just post here, we shall then let Asrock know who will issue a BIOS to resolve.

Obviously it is hard to say but I think I’ll go for one 16GB kit just now and another in BF deals. Get my build up and running.
You reckon that’d be the best strategy?

Sensible, end of the day even if it gets silly cheap, I don't see decent 16G kit under £90, I'd not be worrying about a potential £20 saving in 1-2 months I'd just rather get the rig built and start gaming now.

Now for the 'I hope so' question

Will the 4x8GB sticks be ok in the ASRock as opposed to 2x16GB's. No slowdowns or problems with XMP?
And, will buying another 16GB kit, albeit from the same model and size, be ok?
Never had a problem adding more memory of the same size and model before but haven't built a rig for about 5 years.

Thanks all :)

We find filling 2 dimm slots is better than filling 4 slots, the moment you fill 4 you put more load on the CPU's memory controller and that generally means you can't clock the RAM quite as high, so do bear that in mind.
