Yes its being going up since February, but in August it had dropped a little from the peaks, then the fire happened and now the prices are higher than ever and still increasing. Once Hynix are back upto 100% the prices will come back down a little maybe, but if demand keeps increasing as it is now, then it might not......
Same! There is an identical kit in my sons computer though, so I might nick that and put some cheapo ram in his

And yet, Hynix claim that they will have normalised production within a month, which means that the longer term effects, will be negligible.
When a factory looses production for over a month, all is not well when factory is back online especially during peak season.
We think prices will come back down to pre-fire prices now November earliest as best case but might not be until January-March next year.
Our pricing right now is superb as were sitting on huge volumes purchased before the factory fire.

I'm not saying that your pricing is bad, in fact it is great, I was just saying that the Hynix fire is not as doom and gloom as many manufacturers are saying..

Yes.
Our re-purchase price is now more than our sell price.
As our stock further reduces the price will go up again until were eventually at a profit based on re-buy.
Ok. Can i just check with you the color of the PCB on the black 2400 Mhz 2x8gb then please? If its green then its a no-go.
If its Patriot, then we can't guarantee, they are a pain in the backside for it, some come black PCB and others green PCB.
