I have the following system . . .
Gigabyte DS3 Motherboard
E6600 (With Tuniq Tower 120 HSF)
Corsair 620W Power Supply
Sapphire x1650 Pro 256Mb
4Gb GeIL PC6400 Ultra Low Latency (4 x 1Gb Sticks)
Antec 900 Case
I am currently experiencing Memtest errors but i am having trouble pinning down the cause.
I decided to test my RAM as i was getting random crashes on BF2142, so I ran Memtest86 from a bootable CD and discovered around 584 Errors on the first pass with all 4 sticks in.
I have tested them all individually with no errors (3 passes each).
I then tested 1 matched pair in both slots 1&3 and then 2&4 with no problems.
I have also tested the other matched pair in slots 1 & 2 with no errors.
For some reason, i only get the errors when all 4 sticks are installed in the motherboard. I get the same errors at 2.0V as well.
The memory is at its recommended timings 4-4-4-12 and 2.1V.
Can anyone try and shed some light on this, as its confused the hell out of me.
I bought all the stuff from overclockers, and have read the forums for many months. I just never got around to registering on here.
