memory problems

Hello,

I had a mobo with 2 sticks of adata ddr2 800 2x512, system was running fine, fitted another two sticks 2x512 and now have problems, system boot fine when using 3 sticks (single channel) but when i put in all four it falls over when it gets to loading xp, any ideas...could it be timings? or is one stick faulty?

Just gave the voltages a nudge and....

just have the voltages a nudge to 1.9v and system seems faster, do you think this may cure the problems?

Yip voltage often needs a nudge after adding two extra sticks.

seems to have given it a kick, i though that it would have fallen over with four before the boot if the memory was duff?

It just needed that little extra to push it over the finishing line.
