memory question

Hi,

I'm just about to order an I7 950 and asus rampage 3 motherboard. I want to clock the I7 as much as possible really, would this ram hold it back in any way?. Forgive my ignorance as this will be the first I7 system build. I understand its different to overclock than the core2 quads and wondered if memory this high is needed to get to say 4.2ghz or higher. I have looked for reviews but also can't seem to find any info on this ram any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

I have custom water cooling. Thanks for that info I didn't realise the new intel cpu's was out so soon. I think I may just sit back till the new year then and see what happens.
