So i have my old memory from my old rig which is gskill cl9 1600mhz 4gb 1.5v and now that i have a new with upgraded memory from corsair cl9 1600mhz 1.5v too. So yeah pretty similar so, so that means i can use the old memory in my new rig, right?

Cool thanks, it worked okay when i boot the system after installing the old memory then restarted the pc and now it won't even pass the POST.

you would have to manually set the dram voltage/speed/rated timings

xmp wont work because they are mixed memory,it should work but ideally its best to use matching ram

you might need a bit more imc voltage for the memory controller but no idea on haswell what its labelled as,might be system agent voltage

you might need more memory controller voltage (imc) or system agent

the more ram you have the more you usually need, with just 8gb then it shouldn't need more but above that it usually will

I removed one of the memory and it booted okay then put the one I removed and it boot okay then after restarting the system it fails again. How do I get that?

Or is it because its the model listed in the mobo memory list.

here is the model they have in their list "F3-12800CL9D-4GBXL" though mine is "F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL"

that can be down to needing more memory controller voltage, its for the integrated memory controller inside the cpu,its different from dram voltage

could be down to mixing memory aswell idk till you test with more imc volts but ive no idea with haswell

someone needs to tell you what to adjust,on ivy/sandy its called vccio or vtt

memory lists are usually outdated

(I should really read up on haswell but that platform doesn't interest me tbh)

it could be not enough imc
mixed memory make/model
poor bios support
