I have just finsihed my install, I've run CPU-Z and it shows my memory @
401.3 mhz, fsb:dram 2:3 , 5-5-5-18.

but this ram is meant to be 3-3-3-8 , how do i change the settings?

I have an ASUS P5WDG2-WS Pro Mobo.

Thanks 1DMF

ok I worked that bit out, i've now got them @ 3-3-3-8 11

but CPU-Z is showing 243mhz and 4:3 ratio.

So what do I do to get them @ 400mhz like they should be let alone clock them.

I switched the BIOS to not use SPD and set manually but cannot see anywhere I can set the FSB : DRAM ratio.

Do I need to change FSB & Multiplyer to get memory working correctly?

or do you change memory separate to FSB?

noobie here :D obviously and don't want to have to reset CMOS coz NVRAM boot problems , so want to do this right - one step at a time.

thanks, 1DMF.
