memory slots gone duff?

HI there,

I have recently been having cronic stability problems when running prime at stock. The CPU only tests run fine and can go on for many hours however when running blend, it locks up instantly. This led me to believe at first that the memory was duff. So running my crucial ballistix overnight on memtest came up with no errors.

My next plan was to try it with 4 x 512mb sticks of pc 4200 i had spare which also passes memtest but again failed in prime. It doesn't matter which slots the memory goes in, however this problem has only started happeneing since everything in a new case and put ona new heat sink.

So whats next? RMA the m/b? Will they not have it as it only fails when the memory is under load? Really annoyed now.

Q6600 G0 w/ ultra 120 extreme
Balistix pc8500
x1950

Just a thought but you could try each stick of ram to see if there is a bad one.
