I have recently invested in a gainward bliss 7900gt golden sample pci express card . The product description on ocuk says the memory runs at speeds of 1400+ . Mine only runs at 700 stock and wont go above 800 overclocked. Any idea what my problem could be?

Welcome to the forums, id say 700 is right as you double it, so 2x 700 is 1400.

Because it's DDR memory, double data rate, they'll advertise it as being 1400 MHz when it's running at 700 MHz. It the same as DDR400 memory that is rated to run at 200 MHz.
