Hi guys,

I've purchased some new Crucial Ballastix PC 8500 ram but I can only seem to get it to run at 800mhz. I've loosend the timings, upped the NB voltage to 1.4 and changed the DRAM voltage to 2.2 (recommended). All I can when I try to boot up with the rig in sig (bar the memory) is "Windows is loading files" but it never goes past that.

As soon as I drop the ram back down to 800mhz it boots first time, no problem.

CPU-Z shot of it running fine at 800mhz

Running W7 64 bit

Second look

How accurate is CPUID where it says "Max Bandwidth"? I've read somewhere that it says 6500 because that's what they program it to start at due to maximum compatability?

Also just tried removing my CPU OC and I still can't get it to boot.

Another picture, the motherboard definately supports 1066

Thanks again

It's fixed and running fine now. I had to alter the CHA CLK SKEW to 150PS the FB SKEW to 150ps, CHAB CLK SKEW 000ps and the FB SKEW to 000ps.

Thank you very much to this guy http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40602 :)
