Memory stick query...

I have been given a memory stick by a company as a free gift. However, whenever I plug the thing in it auto launches their website.

I have formated the stick and it still does it. There are no visible hidden files.

Is there any way I can stop it doing this or is there an option in windows to disable this from happening as it's really annoying!

Try deleting the partition on the stick, then create and format a new one.

Doesn't work. There aren't any files on the memory stick space for it to autorun in the first place. I guess it must be something on the bootsector?

I've got the same issue with a sandisk 1GB stick keeps running their U3 software acts as a virtual CD, tried everything to get shot of it, drives me potty.

It must be in the bios of the stick, if you every get it cleared let us know
