Memory Temperature

Just a quick question, what's the recommended temperature for Geil RAM,
just checked mine @ stock (800mhz) they are around 50.6c.

Running 4gb on Abit IP35-PRO with 2.1v.

not sure tbh have never checked, but can run the GeIL 800mhz ULL @ over 1000mhz so shouldnt think you have anything to be concerned about @ 800mhz

Probably not relevent, but my OCZ DDR3-12800 idles around mid 40's. Its running at 450 (1800Mhz) @2.0v

How do you check memory temp? Never seen it before.

Used K TYPE thermocouple and RS* electronic temperature thermometer

Only did this because my PSU went bang and when unplugging the ATX motherboard connector my hand touched the memory and thought **** thats hot! :eek:

I was unsure what temps memory can handle really.
