2d/3d Video Test (PCDr2D3Dvideo)
In this test, PC-Doctor for Windows tests your system’s video capabilities, checking the 2-D and 3-D graphic functionality of the video card in the system. This involves testing the video memory, the graphics acceleration, and line/polygon drawing.
All of these tests contain a graphic element, which you can view on your screen during testing. You can cancel this test at any time by pressing the Escape (Esc) key. There are five 2-D/3-D video tests, which are as follows:
2-D tests
Line Draw Test - This test draws a picture of a color wheel that tests how accurately lines are drawn on-screen. The on-screen picture is then compared with the same version of the picture drawn off-screen. If the on-screen picture is "close" to how it displays in the off-screen picture, the test will log as PASSED.
Video Memory Test - This test fills the video memory and Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) memory with test patterns, which are designed specifically by PC-Doctor to discover memory errors. The data is then transferred back to the system memory and checked to make sure that every pixel contains the correct data. If a pixel reports different data than what the pixel is suppose to contain, the video memory test will log as FAILED.
The current version is 5.0
