Hello, could anyone tell me if I should see any improvements from increasing the memory speed or tightening the timings on my system in sig?

I loosened timings off and got my mem to 2400 MHz then tightened timings as much as possible but it made no difference to my benchmark results, then I tried leaving the mhz at stock and tightening the timings and this also seemed to make no difference in benching so I'm wondering if its worth it changing the ram when I'm only using 100x45 or if its mainly for people using CPUs that aren't unlocked at the multiplier.

I'm using Kingston hyperx 1600 9-9-9-24 and wPrime and a couple of 3d benchmarks to test for improvements.

Cheers

You will get slight improvements on physics scores for benches like 3dmark11. I am going through the same process with my corsair 32gb

I have never noticed any improvement when I clocked it up or clock it down to test, but in a synthetic test there may be a small difference.

not much at all on performance,if you do decide to go back to 2400mhz just watch your memory temps as they do rise when overclocking

ive still to see any improvement since i increased ram from 1600 to 2200
hell my old pc has gone from 1600mhz to 1333 and still has the same scores
