Memory Timings

I have some geil pc6400cr ddr2 and a DS3 mobo etc. CPU Z is reporting mem timings of 5 5 5 18, i set them myself to 4 4 4 12 (which is the rates speed) and my pc reboots it self randomly, is it faulty?

Did you also set the memory voltage to 2.1v in the bios?

Hi

I posted a thread (Possible RAM problem) earlier and then read yours tonight. I have just changed my voltage to 2.1v and my memtest did not show any errors straight away like last nights testing.

I just assumed that the MB would adjust the voltage accordingly :rolleyes:

Fingers crossed for a stable system!
