Looking at your mobo specs I find this requirement :
2 x 240-pin DDR3 DIMM slots Supports Dual Channel DDR3 1333/1066 MHz non-ECC, un-buffered (Max 4GB).

So your mobo limits you very much when it comes to a RAM upgrade.

Thanks for your replies, its quite an old PC now and was one of those rubbish ready built ones from commet about 3 years ago and thats why the mobo is so rubbish.

Usually I buy all the parts myself and build a decent PC but at the time I had no money and it was a cheap option lol.

I've been playing BF4 and frame rate is good in some areas but bad in others and I thought upgrading ram from 4gb to 8gb would make a differance but now am actually thinking maybe I should just wait and buy a mobo/cpu/ram gaming bundle off ocuk when I can afford it after christmas.

Thanks for all your help so far peeps :)
