Memory Upgrade

Hi

I have a Asus m5a88 MB, with a FX series CPU. Currently I have 8Gb of cheap memory no speed on stick so could be 1066 or 1333mhz. Is it worth upgrading to faster memory.

From asus website.

4 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066 Hz ECC, Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
* AMD FX Series CPU on this motherboard supports up to DDR3 1866MHz as its standard memory frequency.

I guess the ddr 3 2000(o.c) is overclocked can it go faster to 2133mhz or is it best to go with 1600 or 1866mhz.

nope, no point upgrading, but if you must just get cheap 1600mhz buddy
your ram is 1333Mhz
