Gigabyte released an updated bios for my board at the beginning of the month that I've updated to this morning. This has solved my issue that was stopping me dropping my Memory divider to go for tighter timings rather than a frequency overclock. Since ive returned my memory back to stock voltage I've noticed a good drop of 5-9 degrees on my processor.
Im now running a Folding@home unit (A3) maxing at 39'c rather than mid to high 40s
EDIT: It also lead to me being able to boot and CPU-Z at this, unfortunaly BSOD as soon as I fire up linx, not tried any benchmarks yet
