memtest errors

Hi,

I have a friends PC which seems to be causing some issues : -

Memtest does 3 passes and then starts to produce many errors.

I have changed memeory, graphics card etc etc, but still same issue.

Any ideas ? Could they be false readings?

The CPU can cause errors in memtest, although faulty CPUs are pretty uncommon so my guess would be the mobo

Try updating the bios and resetting the cmos

do a cpu stress test im not sure of the best but SuperPi is one

prime95 for cpu

can you try the cpu and memory in another mobo ?
