Good man .... You do that whilst I go out and enjoy the last of the summer sun

Think of it this way: your motherboard was built with name brand chips, but your memory modules were probably made from no-name chips, especially if the modules have heatsinks on them.OK I'm back with an update. I ran memtest86+ again only this time with one RAM stick at a time and I ran it for 2 hours with each stick and I got no errors at all. What does this mean now? Faulty motherboard or something else?
It's still bad because unless overclocked or undervolted, all the modules should work perfectly, regardless of how many are installed or in which slots they're installed. Also MemTest86, MemTest86+, and Gold Memory, despite being the best PC-based memory diagnostics, next to PhD's RST, actually can't test memory very well, compared to the very expensive Advantest machines used by gas passers.I figured out my mistake...I had one stick in each bank ie DIMMS 2 and 3. I reinstalled them in DIMMS 3 and 4 and there both running now in single channel. Been running now for 7 hours and there's no errors.
So my memory runs fine in single channel but not dual. Is this still bad memory?
