Men wearing burka's rob selfridges

Interesting that these criminals have used the widely accepted "fear of being racist" by wearing the burka they felt untouchable. Glad it all went wrong and that it won't be long before they are serving a lengthy prison sentence.

Thing is, you never see a white guy employed at an Indian restaurant or takeaway. If they aren't taking our jobs and aren't discriminating against us then why is this the case?

I find the way a lot of the foreign small business owners only hire from their family or people from their own culture which is perfectly normal. but whites should be allowed too hire who they want as well and I think at this point they can.

there are a lot of empty shops and British people can start their own business and only hire English people if that is what they want to do.

Groen why be limited by skin colour...it's skills that are more important. People lets say Asian families only employing their own is usually because they have grown up around the business so have the skill sets already. Too much is made of colour these days...get over it.

Nepotism =! Racial Discrimination

Nepotism is very rife in Asian cultures. No doubt some racists also exist, but it won't be why you see so many of one culture within a particular restaurant.

Also a many smaller restaurants have questionable tax/wage policies.

So, should we ban everything that could potentially be used in a crime? Should we ban Crash Helmets?, as one of those robbers was wearing one of those...should we ban the axes they used? Should we ban dresses and baggy clothing because you can conceal weapons in them?,should we ban scarfs because they may be potentially used in a crime? where does it end?

Yes including toilet paper, since you can conceal yourself in that...

Dont under-estimate the power of toilet paper :eek:

I don't think you read my post. I was not advocating that people should only hire from within the family or that people should only hire from their culture. I was pointing out that it does occur and that there is no rules against it because there is nothing wrong with it.

I guess what you are trying to say is that it is not always premeditated, its just the way it sort of turns out because they all grow up in the place of business. Well that is also a foreign business owner trait, of living above or at your place of work, above the shop etc. Most non foreign or British educated shop owners go down the franchise model or similar and live in a different house. But obviously not always the case historically or now. But generally speaking. But either way it does not realy matter if it is premeditated or not because it still occurs whether they want to do it or not, from an observational stand point.
