Mens hair straighteners

Go for the thin GHD's, nothing else compares. About £70 I believe.
Are they the ones that are burning people's houses down through defections?

Nothing wrong with taking care of yourself. Probably the geeks who never leave their house and therefore have no reason to look after themselves who repeatedly call others gay. Must be a pretty lonely existance :)
Ah come on. A guy asking a bunch of guys for hair straighteners? If he didn't get branded queer something would be wrong :)

I look after myself, but don't need girls' equipment in order to do it. ;)

GHD are the best for non commercial use apparently.

Just because some "straight" men choose to embrace the homosexual lifestyle it doesn't mean they're gay, albeit there probably more on the brink of homosexuality than the rest of us.

Can you blame the generation of metrosexuals though? Advertising and the media force us to adopt a lifestyle where each individual must be as perfect and as beautiful as possible. I personally don't have a problem with people who play along with this, but I just think life's too short for men to waste their time effectively doing make up.

If you can afford it then try and stretch to the GHDs, the really are in a league of their own. If you can't stretch then there's a £30 pair of Remmington ones at Argos that are ok. Just make sure you get ceramic ones with a teflon coating and it's all good.

Personally I think Kendol is the best in pink

Get some Vidal Sassoon ones,got a pair and are really good. Cost £30 I think from argos or superdrug(got it as a present)

Just pop into boots mate theres usually plenty in there, some usually on offer too. If your hair isnt too long go for medium or thin ones as they are much better if your planning on styling, e.g. spiking up.

why non commercial. what do hair dressers use then?

They use GHD's everyone in my gf's salon uses them, there are no super expensive versions for professionals, ghd's are about the best you can get, there are a few others that go hotter but most top salons will use ghd's. Th emain difference between them and the cheaper ones is the time to get hot and the temperature they get up to, thats it really.

For straightening mens hair though they are probably overkill, just get some cheap ones from the high street or go into a hairdressing supply store like sally's and get some CHS ones or something, very similar and about half the price.

Just noticed this thread and another vote for GHD's. My hairdresser uses them on my hair and my hair stays straight for 2-3 days, even if it gets a bit wet.

I think I need to get my point across here.

Firstly, this seems to be appropriate;

Then, the more I look at it, I think;

But, when I think of a bloke looking for straighteners, I see this;

In fact, If I were to call you;

But, I don't want to come across as a bigot so;

It is strange that more mens hair straighteners available. After all, mens hair is made from an entirely different structure than females rendering the "Female" straighteners useless.

That's new to me. I assumed hair was the same for everyone, admittedly of different textures and thickness but i wasn't aware there was actually a difference between male and female hair...does this mean GHD have male and female straightners? =/
