Which someone would tackle Lawro in the face. Where's that Senegal nutter when you need him?

Edit: Rafael's had an absolute shocker. Useless at the back and useless going forward.

lol, Rafael being brilliant, causing the first goal pretty much all on his own, getting in a tiff with a team mate and generally being rubbish :p

Fancy skills against weak teams are one thing.... simple basic skills under pressure against better teams is entirely different. I'm actually really interested to see how Oscar and Moura will do, and probably in the not too distant future Neymar, not sure about any of them.

All over the world...
Nice one you utter **** Rafael ...what a knob, helped Mexico get the first goal then tries to do a silly backheel pass and gets caught out, then gets blasted by Juan lol.

Brazil were poor all over the field really and Mexico deserved the gold medal. They were the better side throughout the game...Brazil almost with a comeback but not enough time...Oscar should have nailed that header the end though.

How can a team that could be fielded at the world cup lose to a Mexican side full of names no one has really heard of?

Football is a strange game. It really is just 11 men vs 11 men. Names mean nothing.

Wish Chico was playing. Man UTD would have had a gold medal winner in their team no matter the result.

Well done Mexico.

Brazil were so bad. The amount of times players were trying to twist and turn their way out of trouble instead of just passing it was amazing. Even at the back they'd be trying to sidestep players instead of using the simple option. Neymar was probably the most guilty. Oscar and Hulk looked good, although that header right at the end was a sitter. All credit to Mexico though. Played exceptionally well and could/should have scored a couple more.

Lol Rafael. I read an article in the paper about Rafael saying he wanted to change peoples opinion of him in the UK by impressing in the final and winning gold for brasil for the first time. Not sure how many opinions have changed, most for the worst id guess.

LOL what a knob, backheel in his own half to lose possession, then does the usual charge back to try and win back the ball but instead fouls the blboke meaning more wasted time and a setpiece for the Mexicans. Gets a rocket from Juan (and rightly so) but then starts giving it back, gets the hook from the gaffer straight away :)

If you're going to get rid of all team events then what about: Team sprint cycling, pretty much all the rowing events, relay swimming, relay running, doubles tennis/badminton/table tennis, volleyball, syncro diving, field hockey etc

There'd be practically nothing left
What a silly comment

Yes, get rid of volleyball/badminton doubles/ table tennis doubles / volleyball/ field hockey and the like.
Why would you get rid of team rowing/ relay swimming & running?

You obviously don't understand the difference between a team event and a team game.
What a silly comment.

Nothing silly about my comment, you're the one who said that the Olympics should be about the individual fastest, strongest etc instead of a team effort.
Relays, doubles games etc are a team effort, not one individual or 'personal achievement' so you invalidated them yourself.

Of course I understand the difference between a team event and a team game.
You seem to be unable to count.
