Mens Spa's!

I've been to a Banya (Russian spa) before. They do separate days for male/female/mixed usually. It's pretty good

Been to Banya Nr 1 hoxton and Chiswick a few times.

Parenie is interesting and tough. A old small Russian man rubbing you down with salt and honey fairly interesting as well.

Brilliant film and sprung to mind when reading. Whilst my own thoughts that tattoos in general are passé. The Russian Bratva or Mafia tat's are proper bad-ass. Anyway... enough Hollywood.

I went to the one in hoxton, the salt and honey rub wasn't my thing but I enjoyed the thing in the sauna with the branches. Also jumping into the plunge pool was a rush! Absolutely freezing

here for the comments loll

but anyway nothing wrong with enjoying a massage and a jacuzzi etc..

like what others have said just a normal spa would be ok as havent really seen any mens only versions

Join a rugby club like a men only spa, mud baths, sweat, some massage, wrestling, steamy showers, fine food and beer.

Too many head collisions may have left a too rosey picture :D

I had to bail out of the branches thing in Chiswick, they must have been setting some sort of record because it was as hot as the sun, they kept putting ice round my head but I had to bail about 3/4 in. Funny thing was the sauna was empty everyone had bailed stupid hot.

Private room in Hoxton FTW :p

Spent a few hours in the fairly famous Széchenyi Spa in Budapest during a city break with a bunch of friends there and, as much as it didn't look like my cup of tea, I'm glad I was dragged there (not quite kicking and screaming but not far off) as it was a great afternoon. Turns out I'm a huge fan of the outdoor "cold air vs warm water" feeling in the outdoor pools and, whilst the massages were brutal, they were oddly relaxing considering the GBH done to me.

Sadly the 3-ish mile walk through Budapest back to the Hotel afterwards wasn't as nice "post-Spa" as it was "pre-Spa" :D

However outside of doing a Spa whilst on holiday, I don't I'd bother with one back in the UK TBH.

I went to a party there a few years ago. It was mental, lots of alcohol and idiots in the water. I spent the whole time looking after a "friend" who thought it was funny to pretend to be drowning. The whole thing was ******* cool, but very slippery when drunk.
