Menu system

I need to create a menu system like the one on the overclockers main page:

Just like the one on the main page, the user will need to have the ability to hover over the main headline which would then display sub-headlines. I know little about web-design (obviously) so don't know the technical terms. Does anyone know what that type of menu system is called or know of any tutorials on how to create a similar system?

It's called a drop down menu.

CSSPlay has a good tutorial i used. Remember to watch out for comptability with IE6
