Merc love.

Sometimes you need to know a car's background to appreciate it.

And stop being so melodramatic, or just get yourself banned again, either would be good.

Yes I'm going to get banned for offering my opinion on some car pictures...

If a car looks good I shouldn't have to know it's pedigree to appreciate it's looks.

Love all the old mercs. Was considering a 190E at one time for myself, but decided against it. The only one I didn't like was the E class with enormous wheels. I think massive wheels work on the larger mercs like the S and SE. TBH that model E class is a real poor relation anyway.

Thanks for the pics, really good looking stuff.

I'm quite partial to the 190E Evo II 2.5 16v Cosworth (what a name...):

Not keen on the W210 but feeling the others, Mercs look good when they are big and square, in the last few years they just dont seem to have the same presence with all the curvy noses.

Some of those are nice, i'll add some more Merc love.

Love the stance on the first one. It just looks mean, but kinda VIP too, but muscular. Any idea what went into that?, in terms of arches/spacers etc.

I'm worried about quite how fond I'm becoming of the E55 AMG. And how they are now available for just £15k and are still falling fast. And how much it fits my criteria of 'good looking bodykitted saloon with lots of exhuasts and loads of kit'.

All the ones in the OP are hideous imo. Leave the damn things alone or at least keep it subtle. The cosworth posted later is gorgeous, as is everything in Gurdas' post, except for black wheels :/

My friend built and painted this a couple of years ago. Someone else has it now on ebay. The car itself was good but so low it was a pain the the backside and only half the width of the tyres actually wore down. Diesel was nice to have for the mileage and I think the car looks good!
