Mercedes SLK's

8k would buy a really nice MX-5, you'd trade a bit of power for a lower cost ownership experience and arguably, more fun
 
I welcome suggestions! I looked at ST's before but now practicality isn't an issue so opting for a sportier car rather than a hatch.

talking of s600's one beat me pretty bad down a straight road, sounded glorious... later found out it has a v8 or something :p

edit: not really a fan of the mx5 styling!
