Merging partitions Vista32

I have two equal sized partitions (C: 32gb and D: 32gb) that were set up like that when I bought the laptop, but I want to merge them into one.

When I go into disk management, extend c: is greyed out and even when I shrink d: it wont let me add more onto c:

Any ideas?

It wont allow me to do this, when I delete D: i cannot extend C: as Extend is greyed out

hmm, it should allow it..

try deleting D:

then creating a new D: and extend C:..

it says not to use it with Dynamic disks, whats one of those

if you've converted to dymanic disk (may have come like this) then I've got no idea mate

If it is dynamic, and you have no need for it, simply convert to "Basic" and use DiskPart....
