Yes and no, not yet.

I'm being a bit fussy - want comfort, refinement, space, half decent economy and something with a bit of grunt & nice handling.

Same sort of car im after, do they even exist? if you find somthing let me know! :D I've given up on the ida of a "practical" sports car as they all have rear seats that are smaller than a shelf!

I know that Evo mag have tested the Teg round a track in the past and it didn't actully set particularly impressive times. Cannot find the actual issue at the moment in the collection though

DC5 or DC2?

There's lots of BM vids on google showing both the 2 and the 5 ripping most other cars a new *** hole. :p

dam Merlin, did i miss something? why you getting rid?

Change in job role means I'll be doing anything from 25k to 30k a year in the car. Can't really do that sort of mileage in the DC5 really. It's a bit erm raw.

Also dont want to devalue it.

So I'm looking as something that'll soak the miles up better. Maybe a BMW or 2.7 bi turbo Audi.

Simon, i emailed you about the S when Merlin 1st broke the news but never got a reply :(

However I do know how much u paid for it ;) :p

Si

I've spoke to Si a few times. He's incredibly tempted, but I cant quite tip him over the edge.

I've got interest from 3 guys plus an OcUK member. I really wanted Si to take it tbh - I know him, we get on well, and I know he'd look after it and not put it into a tree. Quite attached to this car tbh - I just want to see it in the right hands.

What email address?

S had no MOT and not much tax, now has 11 and 6months respectively :p

One thing I am liking is RWD though, can really look a tool pulling out of a junction sideways :p :D

Read a recent copy of the DC2 in a FWD shootout. Ignoring the track times that dont tend to mean that much to drivers who only drive cars for a short time.

"Forget the accolade of greatest front wheel driver car. The Integra Type-R ranks as one of the truly great driver's cars of any kind." Depends if your into times or feel i guess when you drive. Handling for me is the feel bit, grip just gives you the times.

Changed my plans now, developing the MR2 Turbo instead & will get a sweet 04 S2k in moonrock in about 18 months

You won't be able to wait that long, I bet you own either an S2000 or an Elise before long.

Si...Out of idle curiousity...what's happening to the Rover these days?

Just sat in my parents garage. Not doing a lot really. Need to get rid of it soon though

Could you handle the POWER of that thing? ;)

It's a frikkin animal.

I spent last winter driving a lightweight RWD car with 145-section tyres...Most of it grinning, wide-eyed and having to have lighting reactions. ;)

I've dabbled with powerful FWD cars...Just exploring options for my next vee-hickle at the moment. Still not 100% sure on what to get...

Insurance seems to be pretty reasonable at the moment too - being 22 has it's advantages.
