Mesh into administration

They did the same trick with Evesham. Strip the assets and run.

Good thing Mesh have gone, they have been passed around and restructured enough.

I had a mesh about 7 years ago (and an Evesham before that). The actual PC components were pretty good stuff, Asus motherboards, Leadtek graphics cards, but the support was hilariously bad.

I rememeber back in the 2001/02 era Mesh were usually king of the PC Pro tests. Crazy money for the top PCs back then AMD 2200+ systems @ ~ £2k.

Ah the good old days

Anyone remember TINY and Time pc's? whatever happened to them **** company's?

Both went bust....i worked for Time PC's a long time ago as one of their store then area managers and they ended up buying out Tiny...i left soon after and last thing i heard they went bust...probably because their pcs were utter rubbish and their warranties were even worse....didnt stop me from selling shedloads of them:p.

One thing I love doing is reading old 80s and 90s copies of PCW magazine. Great nostalgia trip.

I remember them being as thick as the phone book due to all the adverts in them! :D

I've owned 3 bespoke PC's in the 90's (Time/Evesham & a Romford based Retailer that sold on the Auction site) I learned a fair bit about building PC's by upgrading these PC's & a failed attempt by my former employer to sell PC's in 1998. I've been building my own since 2003. :)

My first PC was a DAN as well....a 486 DX 33 i think. I splashed out and got a DX over an SX. I loved it, although I could do without all the DOS memory management trying to get games to work!
